The Norton boys track and field team went into the defending league champion's house yesterday and defeated Holliston 78-58. The team was lead by Gil O'Neil who won the mile and the 800 and placed third in the javelin. Second to him, Emerson Almeida placed first in both the 200 and 400 while tieing the old school record of 23.2 in the 200. Kam Campbell (400 Hurdles, 100 Hurdles & High Jump) and Brian Desmond (100, 200, and High Jump) were next on the team with 9 points each. Eric Dzengeleski (Shotput & Discus) rounded out the top point getters with 8 points.
Congrats on another great win guys moving the team to 4-1! This was a close one and with missing one of our top point getters due to injury, and with the doubling of events, everyone really turned out great performances. Let's keep this rolling into Millis on Thursday!
