The Norton girls lost 59.67-26.33. They were in it until the middle and distance events, when the Holliston girls, known for their distance squads, took solid control of the meet. First place finishers on the day were: Emma Ethier (hurdles), Courtney Williams (Dash), and Becca Sargent (High Jump).
The Norton boys lost a heartbreaker 40-46. They were neck and neck until the second to last event with the mile to go. The senior Holliston captain and returning TVL Champion in the 2 mile Evan Reseska edged out Norton's Kevin Rogers at the finish. First place finishers on the boys side were Keegan Campbell (1000, high jump, 4x400), Tim Johansmeyer (300, 4x400), Jon Sicard (Dash, 4x400), Danny Lenihan (4x400).
Norton next contest is against Westwood this Wednesday (12/15) at Hopkinton High School at 3:30.
