Norton Beats Bellingham Soundly......

The Norton girls beat Bellingham for their first win of the season in a 65-20 routing. It was the same way on the boys side as they beat them 75-11. The Lancers lead from the first event (hurdles) and never looked back. It was a great win for both sides.

Courtney Williams led the Lady Lancers with 11 points winning the dash and scoring second in the shotput and the hurdles. Emma Ethier pulled in two first places winning the hurdles and the 600. Rebekah Sargent won the 300, placed 2nd in the high jump, and was a member of the 4x400 winning relay. Stacie Linfield (1000, 4x400) and Emily Hastings (shotput) both also pulled in first places in their respective events. Also, congrats to Liz Laverghetta on attaining a varsity letter!

On the boys side, no one is surprised that Captain Keegan Campbell led the charge. He placed in his routine fashion 1st in the high jump, 1000 meters, and was part of the 4x400. Captain Jon Sicard was right behind Keegan placing 1st in the dash and 4x400, and placing 2nd in the high jump. Kevin Rogers easily won his events in the mile and 4x400. Brian Acker took a first for the Lancers in the 600 and 4x400, and Brian Gannon did as well in the 300 and placed 3rd in the dash. Ben Donovan (hurdles) and Cam Eisnor (2 mile) also took first places for the Lancers. A special congrats to Mason Roulliard for making states in the 1000!!!

The Lancers next and final regular season meet is on Saturday, January 29th vs. Millis at Holliston at 3:30. It will be SENIOR DAY as it is the seniors last regular season competition!
