Girls Track Loses Close Meet to Medway

The girls team lost by a score of 71 to 64. Courtney Williams and Rebekah Sargent both had a huge day. Courtney remains undefeated in the 100 meters and the long jump. Today, Courtney ran a PR of 12.4 in the 100. Rebekah won the 200 meters, 400 meters and the high jump. Her time of 28.2 in the 200 qualified for states. Alisan Lynch took first in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.0. That's only one tenth of a second from the school record. Kajsa Tenglin also remains undefeated in the javelin. Her throw today of 106' 3" sets yet another school record. Congrats Kajsa!!! Emma Ethier took a pair of seconds in the hurdles to provide some depth for the team. Alexa Dosreis continues to improve taking a second in the 800 meters. Erin Kennedy took second in the 200 meters and the triple jump. Nobody worked harder today than Jessica Greco. The freshman battled with two Medway girls for 8 laps to finish third in the 2 mile. The 4X100 meter relay team won. Members of the relay were Krista Woodworth, Alison Dufault, Erin Kennedy and Courtney Williams.
