Joe Colley is Division 4 State Champion in the Javelin; Tim Johansmeyer & 4x800 Move On To All-States!

Congrats to Joe Colley on winning the Division 4 State Champion in the javelin. Joe threw a personal best by 13 feet with a mammouth throw of 160'8"! The javelin was a big day for the Norton boys who also placed 5th (Zach Sicard) who also threw a personal best with a huge throw of 154'0", and 8th (Shawn Ferrini) with a throw of 154'1' for a total of 15 points.


Norton had their best finish ever as a team finish placing 7th overall with 36 points (the prior being in 2009 when they placed 9th overall as a team).


Norton senior captain Tim Johansmeyer placed 2nd overall in the triple jump with a PR leap of 42'10.75"!


The Norton boys 4x800 SHATTERED their own school record from earlier this year with a run of 8:22.69. The prior school record was an 8:30.44. The boys team consisted of Tyler Anderson, Mason Rouillard, Kevin Rogers, and senior captain Keegan Campbell.

Jon Sicard - 7th 200 - 22.94
Brian Gannon - 7th 100 - 11.63
Ben Donovan - 8th 110 Hurdles


Congrats to all the athletes who made states. It is a priviledge to be there and we brought the most boys we have ever brought in our history.
