The Lancers brought their A-Game today in what was the highlight of my coaching career!  The Lancers beat Medfield 83-53, and in the end....they come out 8-0 with at the very least a share of the TVL title.  Norton will compete next Tuesday against Millis for the SOLE title of UNDEFEATED TVL CHAMPIONS!

Ryan Lapadula started things out right with not only a league leading run in the 400 hurdles at 59.0, a new school record time (blowing Kam Campbell's record from 2009 of 60.1 out of the water!!)

Senior captain Brian Gannon then stepped up huge for the Lancers after fellow teammate Jon Plummer false started and went on to win the event.  Brian then came back in the 200 and won that with a new PR time of 23.5.

The always reliable senior captain Ben Donovan won the 110 high hurdles and the triple, and placed 3rd in the long jump.

Mason Rouillard scored a league leading time in the 800 with a 2:01.8 and a first place on the lean tying his time with that of Heaney from Medfield.  The officials had to talk it over for some time before deciding it was Mason that took first on the lean.

Other first places on the day were Joe Colley in the javelin, Jon Plummer in the High Jump, and the league leading 4x400 team of Danny Lenihan, Tyler Anderson, Mason Rouillard, and Brian Acker won by a little over a second in a very, very tight race!

20 athletes scored in this meet with a huge team effort to bring to Norton it's first Tri-Valley League Championship.

Norton will next compete with their freshman & sophomores at the MSTCA Freshman/Sophomore Meet this Saturday at Westwood High School at 9:30 am.
