Relays Give Birth to Lady Lancer Excitement!

Abington- The lady lancers competed today in the MSTCA sponsored Divison 4 state relays. In the beautiful sun the lady lancers proclaimed that today was their day. The shuttle hurdle team was the first to compete for the girls team. Kassidy Campbell, Emma Ethier, Sara Silva and Molly Bieksha ran a 1:09.45 combined setting a new school record and placed first at the meet. The lancers had another set of state champions, the high jump relay team. Danielle Whitman, Bekah Sargent and Erin Kennedy all cleared 4'10" and Sarget went a step above clearing 5'0", clinching the lancer victory.

Shot put relay: 6th place (Germano, O'Rourke, Pereira)
Javelin relay: 7th Place (O'Rourke, Pelletier, Atkins-Luu)
4x200: 8th place (Browne, Dufault, Kennedy, Sargent)
Sprint Medley: 9th place (Dilorenzo, Sargent, Feeney, Whitman)
Triple Jump: 11th place (Kennedy, Ethier, Sicard)
4x100: 13th place (Browne, Dufault, Feeney, Pereira)
4x400: 15th place (Ethier, Erickson, Sicard, Whitman)

Shuttle Hurdle: 1st place (Silva, Bieksha, Ethier Campbell)
High Jump: 1st place (Kennedy, Whitman, Sargent)


Overall the lady lancer team placed 8th out of 87 registered teams.
