Congrats to the Norton boys track team who keep their undefeated season going at 6-0 by beating the Holliston Panthers 63-23. Norton's Max Marcotte missed a school record in the 1000 meter by 1 second held by alumni Mason Rouillard, who was in attendance tonight to watch the race. Marcotte bettered his qualifying mark on the year for states with that run by 4 seconds. Billy Sullivan placed 1st overall in the 2 mile and qualified for states in that event with a time of 10:27.2.

Mike Tierney lead the way in points with 11.25 winning all three of his events; the 600, the high jump, & the anchor of the 4x400 meter relay. Right behind him was Justin Ireland (11 points) with his double wins in the 55 dash and 300 and his 3rd in the shotput. Senior Captain Kevin O'Leary won the shotput and had a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 55 dash and 300 for a total of 11 varsity points. Senior Captain Max Marcotte won both of his events (1000 and 4x400) and brought 6.25 points to the Lancers. The other first place finish with 5 points was Billy Sullivan.

Sophomore Chris Wrenn was a member of the 4x400 winning relay and placed 2nd in the mile. Brandon Durocher brought in 4 points with his second in the high jump and 3rd in the hurdles.

Three third place finishers were Joey Annand (1 Mile), Nate DiOrio (600), and Camden Cleathero (High Jump).
The Lancers will head into Boston tomorrow (SUNDAY) for the
Aurebach Freshman/Sophomore Meet! The Lancers are looking to take home as many medal winners as possible!
