Norton Indoor Track Debuts Season with FOUR Wins Between Girls & Boys Teams Versus Ashland & Westwood!

Congrats to both the Norton girls and boys indoor track teams on their first wins of the season.  The girls beat Ashland 68-18, while they took down Westwood 54-32 to  start the season off at 2-0.  The boys will also start the season off at 2-0 after beating Ashland 72-14, and Westwood 49-37.

Senior Captain Brooke-Lynn Williams had a stellar start to her season with 20 points, winning the 55 and 300 in both races.  BLW is coming off an All-American season from 2015-2016!

Dan Salvo started off his senior season with a bang scoring 24 total points on the day winning the 55 and 300 in both meets, while taking a 2nd and 3rd in the high jump.

Joey Annand worked hard as he doubled in the mile and 2 mile scoring 20 points and winning all 4 events in both meets.

Eduardo Mercardo had a fast start to the year winning both high jump events, three 2nd places in the 55 and 300, and 1 3rd place in the 300 scoring a total of 20 points.

Other girl winners on the day included Mary Diestel in the high jump (& 2nd hurdles), Katie Bradley in the 1000 (& 4x400), Julia Palin in the 600 (& 4x400), Hannah Delea in the 55 hurdles, Erica Ransom in  the shotput, Kambrynn Bowman in the 1 mile & 4x400, Sarah Kubinski in the 2 mile, and Bella Berardi (2nd 300) in the 4 x 400 relay.

Other boys winners on the day included Ian Pereira in the 600 (& 4x400), Austin Carroll in  the 1000 (& 4x400), Sam Marcotte in the shotput (& 2nd), and Nick Reynolds & Aiden Lerner (2nd 600) in the 4 x 400 relay.
