Norton Girls Beat Holliston for the First Time in History!!!!

Congratulations to the Norton girls track team on beating Holliston  49-37 for the first time ever! Rebekah Sargent came out strong for the girls with a perfect score of 15! She placed first in the dash, the 300 and high jump. She also got a new school record of 5 feet in high jump! Shannon O'Rourke joins Amy Pereira and Kylie Barrows in qualifying for states in shot put.

Everyone worked together to pull out this win. Amy Pereira and Kassidy Campbell conquered their nerves and accomplished what the team needed them to do, while Danielle Whitman walked off the track from the mile only to be thrown back into high jump where she immediately jumped 4'8" claiming 2nd place. All the girls did a great job knowing that each event was extremely important. They all did their best and it really showed! Excellent job girls!
