Congrats to the Norton boys who finished 4th overall at the MSTCA D4 State Relay Championships!
The Norton boys 50 Yard Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Alex Carignan, Brandon Durocher, Sean Eykel, and Cam Stalters placed 1st overall for the 3rd year in a row running a 29.76 good enough for 10 points out of the teams 28 points.
Scoring another 10 points and smashing a school record from a year ago was the 4x800 team of Max Marcotte, Billy Sullivan, Mike Tierney, and Mason Rouillard with the 5th fastest time this year all divisions and the fastest time in division 4 this year. The school record set by the team was by a little over 9 seconds with a time of 8:27.0 (the old record was 8:36.29 set last season by Mason Rouillard, Kevin Rogers, Brian Acker, and Danny Lenihan).
The boys shotput relay team of Jack Keane, Joe Colley, and Kevin O'Leary threw for a new school record of 120'5" and senior Jack Keane threw for another individual school record of 46'3" breaking his own school from earlier this year.
The boys Distance Medley Relay (1200-400-800-1,600) placed 5th overall good enough for 2 points for the team with Max Marcotte, Danny Lenihan, Mason Rouillard, and Billy Sullivan missing the old school record by 1 second! Overall a great run though boys, especially being a double.
