The Norton boys track and field team split yesterday versus Medfield and Medway.  They beat Medway convincingly 60-23, while losing to Medfield 39-47 in a back and forth battle that came down to the relay.  Winners on the day included Kevin O'Leary in the high jump and 300, Brandon Durocher in the 45 hurdles, Max Marcotte in the mile, Danny Lenihan in the 600, Billy Sullivan in the 2 Mile, and Jack Keane in the shotput.

Kevin O'Leary scored 18 varsity points between the two meets while Brandon Durocher was close behind him with 17.  Mike Tierney scored 12 points while Danny Lenihan and Jack Keane each scored 10.

O'Leary, Durocher and Tierney swept the high jump in both meets.  Durocher, Cam Stalters and Sean Eykel swept the hurdles in the Medway meet.

The Norton boys ended the regular season tying their best record ever at 6-2.  It was a great regular season boys!  Let's keep the momentum moving into the postseason!

The Lancer boys will next compete at the Tri-Valley League Championships this Sunday at 3:00 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.
