The Norton boys track team finished 2nd overall at the TVL Conference Meet yesterday.  They could not hold off the storm of Medfield distance runners from raining on the Lancers victory.  The boys, however, broke THREE school records, all previously held by their record breaker.  TVL Champion Mike Tierney placed 1st overall in the 600 and broke his won school record in the 600 with a 1.25.55.  Senior Captain Max Marcotte broke his own school record in the 1000 breaking the 2:40 barrier with a 2:39.50 and qualifying for the silver standard (along with Mike Tierney) for high school track and field. Finally, Senior Captain Billy Sullivan placed 4th overall in the mile and broke his own school record in the mile by a massive 6 seconds with a 4:32.65!
