On Saturday Dec 13th the girls track and field team raced against Holliston and Ashland winning both meets! Ashland was defeated 62-24, and the tougher fought battle against Hopkinton ended in a win by only 5 points at 45.5-40.5!
The girls took down these two teams at Holliston which can be a tough track to compete on. You would never know the difficulties though as ALL of the girls put in their best effort. Beating Holliston was truly a team effort and everyone's points were crucial. Kassidy Campbell finished first in hurdles, high jump and 600M, Brooke-Lynn Williams finished first in the dash and 300M, Katie Bradley took first in the Mile, Allie Freedman was first in the 1000M, Kylie Barrows first in shot put and Morgan Nicholson first against Ashland in the 2 Mile.
Other placements on the night were:
Bieksha - 2nd in hurdles
Bowman - 2nd in 600M
Sicard - 3rd in hurdles
Browne - 3rd in dash
D Whitman - 3rd in high jump and 1000m
Dufault - 3rd in 300M
Erickson- 3rd in Mile
A Whitman- 3rd in 600M
Czazasty - 3rd in shot put.
