Norton Boys Win Last Regular Season Meet on Senior Day; Boys are Unbeaten in Regular Season (29-0) in Last 3 Years!

What a spectacular performance the Norton boys track team put on for their parents on Senior Day at Wheaton College in their last regular season meet of the season. The boys beat the Dover-Sherborn Raiders 71-15 to finish the regular season undefeated at 9-0! This senior class has been incredible as they have been unbeaten for 3 straight seasons at 29-0!

The Seniors, Their Parents, & Coaches
Thank you to ALL the parents who came out to support us yesterday, especially the senior parents who participated in the senior ceremony after the meet.  We have an incredible group of student athletes who will be missed.  Their success is a direct result of you as parents, and we thank you for that.

As for the duel meet versus Dover-Sherborn, the boys had yet another stellar day.  Leading the way was senior captain Camden Cleathero, who tied his best effort of the season in the 55 hurdles with a 7.9, won the high jump, and ran for 3rd place in the 300 behind the TVL's best sprinters Abu Ceesay and Justin Ireland.  Abu won both the 55 (6.4) and the 300 (35.7), while senior captain Justin won the ShotPut (38'11.5") and grabbed a couple of 2nd places right behind Abu in the 55 Dash (6.6) and 300 (36.8).

Senior Captain Chris Wrenn stayed undefeated on the season winning the 600 (1:26.2) and 4x400 relay. Thomas LeClaire pulled out a gutsy victory over teammate Jordan Lach in the 2 mile with a new PR of 11:14.4. Finally, freshman Austin Carroll won the 1 mile with a time of 5:12.8.

Qualifying for states in both events were Joey Annand in the 600 (1:29.9) and Parker Cleathero in the 1000 (2:47.7) with two of the better times in the conference this year.
