Camden Cleathero Places at MSTCA Pentathlon; Norton Rookies Represent in Their First Ever Track and Field Competition!

Lady Lancer Pentathletes: Maggie  Thomasson, Sarah Driscoll, Lily Holloway
Way up the 495 belt about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Norton High School, the Norton Track Pentathletes made the trek up to North Andover (the site of the 2016 MSTCA Pentathlon) and did well.  5 of the 7 athletes have never done the sport of track and field before 4 weeks ago, nevermind compete in a full pentathlon!  Being quick studies at practice, they did an incredible job as newcomers and we are very proud of them.  For all of them except Camden Cleathero and Ian Pereira, this was their first competitive experience with track and field.  They had to run the hurdles and the 1500/800, long jump, high jump, and throw the shot.  They embraced the opportunity and did a great job!  Congrats to all the pentathletes.

Senior Captain Camden Cleathero takes home some hardware!
Senior Captain Camden Cleathero had a stellar day showing why he is Norton's most versatile athlete placing 5th overall and taking home some hardware!  Congrats Camden!
