Lancers End Regular Season on a High Note; Boys Win Both Meets vs Hopkinton (51-35) and DS (65-21), Girls Win vs DS (73-11) and Lose to a Tough Hopkinton Team (27-59) on SENIOR DAY!










Our track and field teams finish the regular season strong.

It was the last night for SENIORS running/jumping and throwing at their home track at Wheaton College.

Several underclassmen had their final PR's of the season, seeing their hard work paying off.

Joey Annand, Dan Salvo,and Ian Pereira lead the way with points for the boys.  Joey won the mile and 2 mile in both meets.  Dan won the 55 dash and 300, while Ian Pereira win the 600 (2nd 300). Other winners on the day included Brodey Tinkham in the hurdles, Sam Marcotte in the shotput, Eddie Mercado in the high jump (2nd 55 dash), and Austin Carroll in the 1000 meters. The boys tied Westwood with a record of 8-1 in the TVL to share the duel meet title.

Along with several first place finishers, Sarah Driscoll led the girls.  The seniors have stayed strong all year to help us win.  The girls record of 7-1-1 was the second best record the girls have had in school history!

Winners on the day on the girls side included Emily Carlson in the hurdles, Mary Diestel in the high jump, Julia Palin in the 600 (2nd 600 in 2nd meet), Katie Bradley in the mile, Brook-Lynn Williams in the 55 dash, Bella Berardi in the 300 (2nd 300 in 2nd meet), Sarah Anderson in the 2 mile, Kambrynn Bowman in the 1000, and Erika Ransom in the shot put.

The Norton girls sprint medley team of Katie Bradley (800), Brooke-Lynn Williams (200), Kambrynn Bowman (200), and Bella Berardi (400) were invited to compete at the professional meet: The NEW BALANCE INDOOR GRAND PRIX on Saturday January 28th!

The next day, Norton next takes their talents to the MSTCA COACHES INVITE to Boston on January 29th.
