Newell, Loring, Dion, & Palin Pace Their Way to NATIONALS!!

Incredible!! The girls Sprint Medley Relay broke the meet record at the Last Chance to Qualify Meet at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham yesterday! They also QUALIFIED FOR NATIONALS with a 4:16.32 (the qualifier was 4:17.00)!! The girls had no one to run against as the other team withdrew due to injury so they had to pace it just on time. With two incredible opening legs from both Julia Newell out of the blocks with a perfect handoff to Kirsten Loring, the baton was given to sophomore Kylie Dion who ripped up the track with a new PR split of 62.3 in the 400!  Julia Palin does what she does and paced her way into the national qualifier with a smoking fast 800 to close it out! Congrats to you all: Julia Newell, Kirsten Loring, Kylie Dion & Julia Palin for advancing to the big stage in Greensboro, North Carolina the third weekend in June!
