Mile Success for Rogers and O'Neil at the South Shore Principals Saturday!



  • Kevin Rogers won the Freshman Mile outright at the South Shore Principals this past Saturday. He easily beat the field with a lightning fast final 200. He never looked back and finished with a 4:57.85.

  • Gil O'Neil was 2 seconds off the old school record with a 4:34.77 mile to take 2nd in the boys Varsity Mile.

  • Emerson Almeida continued his dominating ways placing 2nd in the 400 with a time of 50.98.

  • Tim Johansmeyer placed 2nd in the boys varsity long jump with a jump of 18'9.25".

  • Brian Acker placed 5th in the boys freshman 200 with a time of 12.69.

  • Ben Donovan got a personal record in the boys triple with a jump of 34'10.5".

  • Congrats to all the athletes who competed today.

  • The Lancers next meet is the Division 4 State Meet Friday May 29th at Weston High School at 3:30!

I have heard that Brian Acker's official time was not 12.69, actually a 12.4, and am impressed with him because Coach Taylor's hand time had him at an 11.81 ;)
btw congrats to Kevin, Gil, Emerson, TJ, Kelly, Emily, Laura, Erica, Annie, and Kelsey for placing and for PRs. :)Good job everybody!
