MSTCA STATE RELAYS A SUCCESS FOR NORTON BOYS; 4x800 Breaks a 12-Year-Old Record!!

The Norton Lancers placed 12th out of 24 teams this past Saturday at the Divison 4 State Relays. They set 5 new school relay records and broke a 12 year old 4x800 record. They scored 16 points total on the day.

Results are as follows:

2nd OVERALL - Shuttle Hurdle Relay: Ben Donovan, Ramzi Bechara, Jon Sicard, James Sicard- 1:09.33

4th OVERALL - 4 x 800m Relay: Brian Acker, Tyler Anderson, Scott Coleman, and Kevin Rogers - 8:42.88

4th OVERALL - Triple Jump Relay: Tim Johansmeyer, Ben Donovan, Connor McLaughlin- 33.57m

7th OVERALL - 4x200: Jon Sicard, Tim Johansmeyer, Mike McCluskey, Brian Gannon - 1:35.77

7th OVERALL - Long Jump Relay: Tim Johansmeyer, Kevin Rogers, and Jon Sicard -16.5m

10th OVERALL - Javelin Relay: Matt Anderson, Joey Hallgren, Mike Keane-109.36m

Norton's next meet is the TVL Championship on Wednesday, May 19th @ Westwood High School at 4:00.
