The Westwood Wolverines were too much for the Lancers today as they beat the girls 30-56 and the boys 37-49.
On the girls side, there were only two first places on the day. A TVL league leading throw by Shannon O'Rourke of 32'4" won the meet in the shotput. A Norton school record of 4'10" in the high jump by Erin Kennedy won the high jump for her.
The boys took 5 first places but did not have the depth in the second and third places to pull it out. Mason Rouillard and Dan Lenihan had stellar performances today with two of the best times in the league. Mason ran a 2:47.9 in the 1000 and Dan ran from fourth to first in the 600 with a phenomenal time of 1:32.1 on the small track. Jon Plummer was once again the leader on the boys side with 13 points, winning the 300 and high jump, with a second in the 45 dash.
