On a beautiful day in Norton, the Norton Lancer boys track team beat the Bellingham Blackhawks 95.5-40.5 today!
Sophomore Mike Tierney had a HUGE day winning the 400 hurdles at the start of the meet with a state qualifying time and coming back 30 minutes later to take down the regular 400 with on of the best times in the league this year.
Junior Josh Kelleher also had a HUGE day winning both the long and triple jumps and setting lifetimes personal records in each and qualifying for states in both.
Kevin O'Leary hit a staggering 60 varsity points today and continued his winning ways winning all three events her was entered into: high jump, javelin, & 100 meters.
Sophomore Cam Stalters had a terrific day posting the 4th fastest time in the league this year in the 110 high hurdles (16.9) and coming in 3rd in the javelin.
Other winners on the day included: Max Marcotte (mile), Mason Rouillard (800), Billy Sullivan (2 Mile), Steve Hudson (ShotPut), and Paul Schleicher (Discus)**Season Best.
