High Flying Norton Athletes Dominate Jumps at the ABCD Meet!

Josh Kelleher places 3rd in triple jump & 5th in the long jump & qualifies for states!

Zach Sicard places 3rd in the long jump & 6th in the triple jump 

The Norton track teams performed very well at the ABCD meet on Wednesday. As a team, they placed 3rd overall behind Bishop Feehan and Mansfield but ahead of Seekonk and Attleboro. 

The girls had FOUR 1st place finishes:  Kassidy Campbell in both the 400 Hurdles & the 100 Hurdles, Shannon O'Rourke in the Discus, & Amy Pereira in the ShotPut.  

2nd Place: Emma Ethier in the 100 Hurdles. 

3rd Place: Ashley Pelletier in the javelin, Bekah Sargent in the High Jump, and Kassidy Campbell in the Long Jump.  

5th Place: Danielle Whitman in the High Jump. 

On the boys side, here are a list of placement finishers: 

1st Place: Kevin O'Leary - Javelin, Danny Rafuse - Triple Jump

3rd Place: Jack Keane - ShotPut, Josh Kelleher - Triple Jump, Danny Rafuse - Long Jump, Mason Rouillard - 800 Meters, Elliot Ariola - 110 High Hurdles

4th Place: Steve Hudson - ShotPut, Kevin O'Leary - High Jump, Justin Ireland - 200 

5th Place: Paul Schleicher - Discus, Joe Colley - Javelin, Josh Kelleher - Long Jump

6th Place: Zach Sicard - Triple Jump & Long Jump & 100, Max Marcotte - 1 Mile
