Norton Beats Medfield By the Largest Margin in Program History: 94-42!

Congrats to the Norton boys track team who took down the Medfield Warriors on their turf by the largest margin in the program's history: 94-42

Some outstanding performances on the day included:

Mike Tierney broke 60 in the 400 Hurdles with a new personal record and won and came back later in the 400 meters and won that!

Junior Kevin O'Leary had ANOTHER perfect day (15 points) winning the 100, javelin, & high jump. 

Jack Keane threw a league 2nd best toss of the year with a 47'0" throw in the shotput, and came back and grabbed a 3rd in the discus.

Freshman Justin Ireland worked his way into the top 5 in the league placing second today with a PR in the 200: 23.7.

Norton's 4x100 meter team of Zach Sicard, Justin Ireland, John Taylor, & Colin Habig took the victory by a second over the Warriors with a 46.7.

Other winners on the day included Danny Rafuse in the triple jump, Paul Schleicher in the discus, Zach Sicard in the long jump, and Cam Stalters in the 110 high hurdles.

Norton will next compete/go hunting this Thursday with a makeup meet versus the HOLLISTON PANTHERS in Panther country at 3:30!
