Norton Boys Fend Off a Tough Bellingham Blackhawk Team and Win 62-24! Boys Move to 3-0 on the Season!

Congrats to the Norton boys track team who beat the Bellingham Blackhawks today after a hard fought meet by the Blackhawks.  With their victory over Bellingham 62-24 today, the Lancer boys move to 3-0 on the season and stay undefeated! 

Senior Captain Max Marcotte lead the way for the Lancers as he gained 10 points by winning both the mile and 1000 Meters!  Other first place finishes included Cam Stalters in the 55 Hurdles, Brandon Durocher and Mike Tierney in the high jump, and Billy Sullivan in the 2 Mile.

The distance squads had a phenomenal day sweeping the mile, 2 mile, and coming in 1st & 2nd in the 1000 meter for a total of 26 points combined for those 3 events!

The boys 4x400 (DiOiro, Cappelini, Durocher, & P. Cleathero) won in dramatic fashion as they came from behind with Parker Cleathero's lightning fast anchor leg to win by a second!

2nd 2 Mile, 3rd Mile - Chris Wrenn
3rd 600, 4x400 - Nate DiOrio
2nd 600 - Mike Tierney 
2nd 1000 - Noah Lach
3rd 2 Mile - Joey Annand 

Norton will next compete in a tri-meet against Dover-Sherborn and Ashland this coming Wednesday the 18th at 3:30 in the afternoon at Wheaton  College.
