4 School Records BROKEN at the D4 State Relays; Girls Place 4th Overall as a Team!

The girls team finished in 4th place with 32 points behind first place Milton, Tewskbury and Pentucket Regional in Boston  this weekend out of 49 schools, an incredible spot with such tough competition.  Milton and Tewksbury are being coined the two toughest teams in the whole state, all divisions.

New school records were made by the 4 x 200 team of Brooke-Lynn Williams, Bella Berardi, Kirsten Loring and Julia Newell who placed 2nd overall with a new school record of 1:49.17 previously held by all the same members from last year except for Julia Newell who replaced Cece Browne.



The 4 x 400 team of Katie Bradley, Kambrynn Bowman, Julia Palin and Bella Berardi took 4th place and set a new school record in 4.13 seconds breaking the record they set last year.


The 50 yd shuttle hurdle relay placed 2nd overall with a new school record of 31.86 (previously 31.91) Members were Sarah Driscoll, Hannah Delea, Emily Carlson and Mary Diestel.  The record was held by  Kayla Sicard, Emily Carlson, Molly Bieksha and Kassidy Campbell set in 2014-15.


The final school record came from the boys 4 x 800 relay of Joey Annand, Austin Carroll, DJ Nihill, & Ian Pereira broke the school record with a 8:21.46, previously held by Max Marcotte, Billy Sullivan, Mike Tierney, & Chris Wrenn from 2013-2014 (8:25.94).

The girls 4 x 800 relay team placed 2nd overall with Katie Bradley, Kambrynn Bowman, Julia Palin and Shelly Belcher with a 10.01.27.


Also medaling for the day was the long jump relay of Berardi, Williams and Bowman placing 5th.

The high jump relay of Carslon, Diestel and Driscoll placed 13th while the sprint medley team of Sara and Hannah Kubinski, Maggie Thomasson and Abbie O'Brien placed 16th.


A FANTASTIC JOB by all!  Congratulations girls!!!

The boys team finished in 15th place out of 49 teams.  Burlington High was the winner of the day.

10th Overall: 50 yd Shuttle hurdle relay: Brodey Tinkham, Colin Beyna, Corey Stalters and Tom Denham

11th Overall: 50 yd dash relay: DJ Regan, Matt Junkins, Peter Rivard, Alec Weeman

12th Overall: 4 x 400 relay of Nick Reynolds, Joey Annand, Ian Pereira and Austin Carroll

13th Overall: distance medley relay of Joey Cronin, Ben Pescod, Aiden Lerner and Thomas LeClaire

16th Overall: long jump relay: Corey Stalters, Peter Rivard, Jared Winiarz

21st Overall: 4 x 200 relay of DJ Regan, Matt Junkins, Peter Rivard and Alec Weeman

The last regular meet of the season is Tuesday against Hopkinton and Dover Sherborn.  A few Freshman and Sophomores are competed in the Paul Davey meet on Martin Luther King Day- both held at Wheaton College. The results are below:
