Norton Track Goes 3-1 Versus Millis and Medway Teams; Girls Sweep While Boys Suffer First Loss in Over 3 Years to Medway

Starting the New Year off in style, the girls team went for the sweep against Medway and Millis beating each team and moving their record to 6-0-1.   They beat Millis 54-32 and beat Medway 55-27.

The boys team suffers its first loss of the season and their first loss in over 3 years losing to a very tough and deep Medway team 39-47, but beat Millis 70-12.  The boys record on the season moves to 6-1.

Kambrynn Bowman was a double winner for the day winning the mile and 1000 and Katie Bradley, Brooke-Lynn Williams, and Hannah Delea helped out with big points as well.

For the boys team Joey Annand, Austin Carroll and Eddie Mercado Jr. were big point getters but we had many second and third places to capture points.

The Lancers are back to a full week of hard practicing after the long winter break and compete next Saturday at the Freshman/Sophomore Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.  We should see some great performances by our strong underclassmen.
