In the meet against Hopkinton, the boys lost 55-81, while the girls lost 42-91. Both Hopkinton squads doubled the size of Norton's teams, however, that did not deter the Lancers from putting it all out there. Winners on the boys side included Paul Wisnaskas in both hurdles (and second in the high jump), Ian Pereira in the 100 & 200 (with a season best and TVL leading 200 time of 23.2), Pat Bingel in the 1 mile (with a second in the 2 mile), Corey Stalters in the javelin, and Austin Carroll with an automatic state qualifier in the 800 and third fastest time in the TVL this year. Leading the way for the Lady Lancers was senior captain Meg Nichols with 8 points winning the shotput with an automatic state qualifying throw of 32' 10" and coming in second in the discus with a toss of 71' 5". Also winning on the girls side was the 4x400 team of Katie Bradley, Kylie Dion, Bella Pietrasiewicz, & Sarah LaFrancois.
