The Norton boys and girls teams beat Ashland via a rare forfeit. It is still unclear at this point why Ashland did not show up to the meet, but it probably has to do with scheduling. The original meet was changed from Wednesday to Monday, and there could have been some miscommunication with the AD's and coaches involved.
Norton did not want to win this meet this way, but unfortunately, this is how it is.
Tim Johansmeyer finishes his undefeated regular season in the 300.
Norton's next meet is Saturday January 30th for the Tri-Valley League Championship.

i think that some of the records are off (example: hurdle and shot put)
I was given clearance to reset the records on the boys side starting from 3 years ago. This was done because the old coach has the records and is nowhere to be found. If you have any of the legitimate records, please let me know so that I can update the records. Thanks for your understanding and help with this.
