Lancers Shoot Down the Bellingham Hawks 103-33; Boys Stay Undefeated at 5-0!!

Congrats to the boys team who beat the Bellingham Hawks today 103-33.  Once again, Jon Plummer lead the way winning the 100 (tied a school record from 1993) in a 11.1, winning the 400 and winning the javelin.  The ever consistent Ben Donovan took the 110 hurdles with a scorching season best of 15.4, while also winning the triple jump and coming in second in the long jump.

Billy Sullivan tried his first mile on the season and ran an impressive 4:57.7 by himself for 1st place overall.  Ryan Lapadula took first in the 400 hurdles and came in 3rd in the 110 highs.  Mike Tierney took his first 1st place of the year winning the 2 mile as a freshman! Steve Hudson won the shotput, with partner in crime Jack Keane right behind him in second.  Steve Burrill won the high jump easily and moved up to 5'10" to try a season best but fell a little short.

 Mason Rouillard, Max Marcotte, & Brian Acker in the 800 Meters

The 800 was stacked today with most of Norton's best runners.  Mason Rouillard who has been placing 1st for Norton all season took it with a 2:05, while Max Marcotte surprised everyone coming in right behind him with a 2:06, and veteran Brian Acker 1 more second back at 2:07.  Close behind was Danny Lenihan (2:10) and Scott Coleman (2:12). 

Paul Schleicher threw a mammoth TVL league-leading throw of 131-8 in the discus for not only first in the meet and 1st in the TVL, first in all of Division 4!! Tyler Durocher also threw a season best throw of 122'11 for one of the best in TVL!

Norton's 4x400 team of Brian Acker, Max Marcotte, Danny Lenihan, and Mason Rouillard took 5 points with their sound win.

Norton's next meet will be Thursday versus the MEDWAY MUSTANGS AWAY at 3:30!
