Congrats to the Norton boys track team who had their best finish in school history at the Division 4 State Relays.  The boys placed 2nd place overall and lost by a very narrow margin.  The difference in the meet was Weston by 4 points and the pole vault played a part.  The Tri-Valley League does not permit pole vault due to safety issues, so Norton does not have any pole vaulters.  Weston's 10 points in the pole vault put them over the top.

I want to personally say that today was one of the highlights of my coaching career, and I have very dedicated and hungry athletes who want to win and give everything of themselves to this team and program and I would not want to coach any other athletes or be anywhere else.  This team is very special and where this team has come in the past 4 years has been a sight to see and today was a testament to all of your hard work.
