Congrats to the boys track team once again for beating TVL foe Holliston 96-40! The team went deep in the distance events and swept three others: triple jump, javelin, & the 800 meters. The boys came in first and second in the 400 hurdles and never looked back!
The race of the day was the 110 high hurdles with league bests times from the best three hurdlers in the league: Krauss from Holliston with a 15.5 for first, Ben Donovan (15.5), and Ramzi Bechara (15.70)!
Norton stays undefeated on the season with a record of 4-0. Jon Plummer lead the way winning the high jump with a season best of 5'10" qualifying him for states, while he also placed 2nd in both the 100 & 200 meter sprints. Ben Donovan won the triple, was 2nd in the 110 high hurdles, and was 3rd in the long jump. Max Marcotte did a tough double today winning the mile and coming in second in the two mile. Mason Rouillard had a stellar day winning both the 800 and the 4x400 relay!
Other first place finishers on the day included Ryan Lapadula in the 400 hurdles, Billy Sullivan in the 2 mile, Scott Coleman in the long jump (with a huge state qualifying jump of 20'1"), consistent Joe Colley in the javelin, and Paul Schleicher in the discus!
