Boys Place 8th at D4 States; Donovan, Bechara, Rafuse, & O'Leary Head to ALL-STATES!

The Norton boys track team placed 8th overall at the Division 4 State meet in North Reading on Saturday.  On a hot and humid day, the Lancers fought through some tough conditions and scored some good performances, but were hoping for a little better than 8th.  However, 8th place out of 37+ (only 37 of the teams actually scored points) was nothing to look past.  The Lancers capped an already incredible season with yet another good performance.

Ben Donovan (4th - 110 Hurdles: 15.99), Ramzi Bechara (3rd - 110 Hurdles: 15.71), Danny Rafuse (3rd - Triple Jump: 42'2.50"), & Kevin O'Leary (4th - Javelin: 155'9") all qualified for ALL-STATES in their events by placing in the top 4 overall at the divisional meet. The MIAA Massachusetts All-State Meet will be at Fitchburg State College this coming Saturday, June 2nd at 3:30.
