This past Saturday the Lady Lancers finished their season taking home a few medals from the State Meet held in North Reading. The day began bright and early, with the bus leaving at 7:00 am, the Lady Lancers were ready for the extremely warm day ahead. With the field events first, O'Rourke, Pelletier, Amato and Pereira headed to their throwing areas while the rest of the team began streaching for the races that were to start on the track at 10:00. There were a few PR's and the placements for the lancers were as follows:
Sargent: 8th High Jump 4'10", 14th 400 63.83
Almeida: 8th 400 62.26
Ethier: 9th 100HH 16.98
Pereira: 11th Shot Put 30'8"
O'Rourke: 17th Discus 80'1"
Amato: 18th Javelin 88'5"
Pelletier: 25th Javelin 84'6"
Kennedy: 26th Triple Jump 29'2.5"
4X100 Relay (Kennedy, Feeney, Dufault, Pereira): 17th 53.86
4X400 Relay (Linfield, Sicard, Dufault, Ethier): 10th 4:31.96
