Max Marcotte broke Mason Rouillard's (11-12) record in the 1000 meters by over a second with a time of 2:40.20 and placed 6th place overall out of 60 athletes who qualified.
Kevin O'Leary broke his own school record from last week in the long jump with a leap of 19'9' and came in 11th/44 in that event. Kevin also posted a TVL best jump in the high jump with a mammouth leap of 5'11"!!

Other performers from Norton who qualified for the meet were as follows:
Justin Ireland - 21st/135 300 Meters -37.66, 23rd/149 55 Meters -6.92
Adam Winiarz - 108th/135 300 Meters -39.34
Norton next competes tomorrow at the MSTCA Elite Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. The 4x800 team of Billy Sullivan, Max Marcotte, Mike Tierney, and Chris Wrenn will try to break the school record!
