Boys Decathlon Team Places 4th Overall in Mass State South Decathlon; O'Leary Places 5th Overall and Breaks School Record!

After a grueling 2 days with 10 events, the Norton boys decathlon team of Kevin O'Leary, Cam Stalters, and Brandon Durocher placed 4th overall in the Massachusetts South State Decathlon.


Team results (top 10) are as follows:

5.) Bridgewater-Raynham - 14,556
6.) Middleboro - 13,441
7.) Hopkinton - 12,914
8.) Bishop Stang - 12,903
9.) Milford - 12,834
10.) Plymouth North - 12,518

Kevin O'Leary broke Jon Plummer's school record from 2012 in the decathlon 5,336 by 270 points with 5,606 points!! Kevin placed 5th overall at the decathlon! 


Cam Stalters placed 11th overall and was able to score a coveted top 15 t-shirt with his efforts!  Cam scored 4,956 points.

Brandon Durocher helped the team to a 4th place team finish with a 26th place overall finish scoring 4,365 points!


Norton Track finishes the season this Saturday at the New England Championships at 10:00am at Bridgewater State University!  Norton is bringing a RECORD 4 athletes; Brooke Lynn Williams (100), Bella Berardi (Long Jump), Kassidy Campbell (100 Hurdles), & Kevin O'Leary (Javelin).
