The boys, running/jumping/throwing with the seniors in their minds and hearts defeated Millis 81-5 and Ashland 71-15.  It was a very strong showing for the Lancers as they look ahead to the TVL Championship meet.  Winners in the day included top varsity point-getter Justin Ireland in the 55 dash and shotput, with a second in the 300.  Senior Captain Cam Stalters stayed undefeated in the regular season in the 55 hurdles, while taking home a couple of second place finishes in the high jump and shotput. Chris Wrenn posted the 2nd fastest time in the TVL this year with a 1:27.0. Camden Cleathero won the high jump with a leap of 5'10".  Senior Captain Mike Tierney won the 1000, doing it for the first time this season.  Freshman Ian Pereira won his first first place of the year winning the mile. Tom Leclaire won the 2 mile.  The 4x400 A team boasted their fastest time of the season with their top 4 guys finally getting a chance to run together with a league leading 3:34.8.  That time is the 3rd fastest in division 4 in the state and the fastest time in the Tri-Valley league by 10 seconds.  Members of that team were Adam Winiarz, Chris Wrenn, Mike Tierney, and Abu Ceesay.  And finally, Abu Ceesay broke his own school record AGAIN posting a 34.7.  This is the fastest time in the TVL, the fastest time in Division 4, the fastest time in Massachusetts this year, the fastest time in New England, and the 17th fastest time in the country this year!
