Norton Boys Stay Undefeated at 6-0 with Wins Over Medfield and Bellingham!

Congrats to the Norton boys track team who stay undefeated at 6-0.  Norton beat Medfield by the largest margin in school history 63.5-22.5!  Norton also beat Bellingham 73-13.

Sophomore Joey Annand doubles in the mile and 2 mile and almost breaks the school record in the 2 mile! 
The boys scored 14 out of 18 first places!  Leading the day for the Lancers with 20 varsity points was Abu Ceesay winning the 55 Dash and the 300 Meters in both meets.  Close behind Abu in points was Justin Ireland (2nd 55 Dash, 2nd 300, 3rd Shotput), and Cam Stalters (1st Hurdles, 2nd Shotput, & 3rd High Jump).

The boys winning 4x400 posted the fastest time in the TVL this year with a 3:42.9. Lead off by senior captain Mike Tierney, they blew away the competition with other teammates Sean Cappellini, Chris Wrenn, and senior captain anchor Adam Winiarz with a 54 split!

Norton has one of the biggest meets of the season next Tuesday, January 13th, when they take on the only other undefeated team in the TVL: the Hopkinton Hillers at 3:30 at Wheaton College.
