Abu Ceesay BREAKS ALL-TIME TVL 100 Meter Record in 109-23 Win Over the Bellingham Blackhawks; Boys Stay Undefeated at 5-0!

It was an incredible SENIOR DAY for the junior sprinter from Norton.  Abu Ceesay cruised to victory with the FASTEST TIME EVER SPRINTED in the Tri-Valley League Conference.  Abu's 10.7 was good enough to break Holliston's Robert Morse's 10.8 set 28 YEARS AGO in 1987!! After breaking the TVL and school record in the 100, Abu then came back in the 200 and ran the fastest time in the TVL this year in the 200 with a 22.0, tying the existing school record. He also placed 2nd overall in the long jump with a leap of 18' 5.5".

Senior Captain Cam Stalters had the perfect day with his hat trick of wins in the 110 high hurdles (15.4 personal best), the discus (119'9" personal best), and javelin (143'9") scoring a team high 15 points for his Lancer squad.

Camden also qualifed for his 4th event at states coming in third in the 100 with a 11.3.  Camden also placed 2nd overall for the Lancers in the 110 high hurdles.

Junior Justin Ireland stayed undefeated in the long jump on the season with a leap of 19' 2.5". he also placed right behind teammate Abu Ceesay in the 100 and 200 sprint races.
