Boys Take Home Hardware at State Coaches Meet; Abu Ceesay Breaks Another All-Time TVL Record!

Congrats to all the boys who qualified and performed at the MSTCA State Coaches Meet this weekend. Abu Ceesay had a stellar day for the Lancers, winning the 200 meters and coming in second in the 4x100 and was named "Running Athlete of the Meet"! Abu posted the fastest time in the state this year in the 200 of 22.04, using the new light system.  Abu, for the second time this week breaking a TVL record, ALSO broke the ALL-TIME TVL RECORD in the 200, previously held by Jeff Tolson (1990) from Holliston High School.

     Justin Ireland placed 3rd overall in the 200 meters and ran the 4th fastest time in the state this year with a 22.78. He also lead of the 4x100 team of Camden Cleathero, Adam Winairz and Abu Ceesay who placed 2nd overall and ran the second fastest time in the state of Massachusetts this year!

     Placing 5th overall in the javelin was senior captain Cam Stalters with a toss of 150'6".  Also placing fifth and medaling for the Lancers was the 4x400 team of Chris Wrenn, Mike Tierney, Parker Cleathero, & Adam Winiarz with a season best 3:34.24!

     Senior Captain Mike Tierney placed 6th overall in a VERY competitive field of 400 runners running a 51.28.
