Norton Girls Track Beats Westwood for First Time in TVL HISTORY; Pelletier Qualifies for Nationals in Javelin!

The girls took down Westwood in convincing fashion winning 87-49. This is the first time the girls spring track and field team has beaten Westwood! Great job girls! Among the great performances of the day was Senior Ashley Pelletier who threw an amazing 105'2" in the Javelin qualifying for nationals! Another school record was also broken. Brooke-Lynn Williams ran a 12.1 in the 100M dash!
 
Ashley and Brooke-Lynn were among other great performances on the day with the lady lancers placing first in 13 of 16 events! Kassidy Campbell in the 100 and 400 hurdles. Brooke-Lynn Williams in the 100, 200, and Triple Jump. Katie Bradley in the Mile and 800M. Bella Berardi in the 400M and Long Jump. Amy Pereira in the shot put. Danielle Whitman in the High Jump and the 4x100M Relay team of Amy Pereira, Cece Browne, Kambrynn Bowman, and Ashlyn Hines ran an impressive 53.5!
 
Other placements on the day were:
2nd: Sicard in 100 hurdles, High Jump and Triple Jump, Berardi in 200M, Campbell in Long Jump, Duranko in Javelin.
3rd: Ward in 400 hurdles, Pereira in 100M, Bieksha in 100 hurdles, Bowman in 800M, Pelletier in discus.
  
 
                             Some mile runners are happy when they finish.... and some are not!
