Norton High School Has the Best CO-ED Finish of Any High School in Massachusetts at the MIAA All-State Meet! Norton Girls Finish 2nd Overall!!

What a meet for the Norton track teams at the MIAA ALL-STATE Championships.  The Norton girls were the runner-up team and the boys placed 7th overall! Combined, they had the best co-ed finish of any high school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 374 teams!

Leading the way for the Lady Lancers was All-State Champion Brooke-Lynn Williams.  She won the 200 and came in 2nd in the 100.  Sophomore Bella Berardi placed 3rd in the long jump with a massive leap of 18'0"! Both of these all-stars will be moving onto the New England Championships!

Leading the way for points on the boys side was Abu Ceesay, who placed 2nd in the 200 (21.73), 4th in the 100 (11.0), and 5th in the 4x100! The 5th place 4x100 team of Justin Ireland, Camden Cleathero, Adam Winiarz, & Abu Ceesay ran a 43.55, good enough for 5th place overall and a ticket to New Englands.  Both Cam Stalters (javelin) and Adam Winiarz (200) placed 7th in their events and achieved personal records.  Stalters threw 169'6" in the javelin, while Winairz ran 22.64 in the 200.  All of these boys will be moving onto the New England Championships!
