Boys Stay Undefeated at 8-0 in Route to 62-24 Win Over Westwood; Joey Annand Shatters His Own School Record in the Two Mile!

     Junior Joey Annand was on a mission today as he clocked 38 split after 38 split in the two mile.  He clocked his first mile in 5:06 and came back in a negative split of 5:05 in route to a 7 second school record that he himself previously held.  His old school record was a 10:18.43 from last season (14-15). He was able to easily secure the victory by 57 seconds in the 2 mile.

    Abu Ceesay is starting to find his stride again as he cruised to TVL best victories in the 55 dash (6.3) and the 300 (35.9)! 

    Senior Captain Camden Cleathero continued his winning ways as he won a tight race in the hurdles and grabbed another 1st place in the high jump where he is unbeaten in the Tri-Valley League this year. Camden also placed 3rd in the 300 behind the two best sprinters in the conference this year: teammates Abu Ceesay and Justin Ireland in his first time running it this year!

     Senior Captain Chris Wrenn posted the fastest time in the TVL this year in the 1000 meters in his first time running it this year with a 2:42.1! 

     Sean Cappellini ran a very tactical race as he won a very close race with senior teammate Parker Cleathero right behind him to take 1st and 2nd in the 600 meters. 

     Freshman Austin Carroll ran a new personal best as a freshman in the 1 mile with a 5:06.7 with teammate Thomas LeClaire less than a second behind him for second!

    The 4 x 400 meter relay stayed undefeated this year with the stellar team of Nick Reynolds, Sean Cappellini, Parker Cleathero & Chris Wrenn posting a 3:38.5.

Norton finishes the duel meet and regular season at home on SENIOR DAY next Thursday against the Dover-Sherborn Raiders at 3:30.
