It was an incredible experience for all this past weekend at the National Championship Meet in New York City. The 55,000 square foot Armory in New York City houses one sport: Track and Field. In an incredible venue, 8 Norton athletes represented this team, their families, and this town with a great deal of pride.
Brooke-Lynn Williams is the first athlete ever from Norton High School to earn the status of ALL-AMERICAN!! She truly is the Queen of Speed! Her races went as follows:
60 M Dash Championship Division:
12th Prelims (Friday) 7.56
7th Semis (Sun AM) 7.42
5th Finals (Sun PM) 7.40 (7.399)

On Saturday, the Norton boys 4x200 relay in the championship division of Justin Ireland-Camden Cleathero-Andrew Raneri-Justin Martins placed 4th in their heat with a 1:33.39!
On Friday competing in the emerging elite division, the girls Sprint Medley Relay of Bella Berardi (200), Brooke-Lynn Williams (200), Kambrynn Bowman (400), & Katie Bradley (800) placed 18th Overall with a 4:24.43!
Also competing on Friday was Camden Cleathero in the emerging elite High Jump. He placed 20th Overall with a leap of 6'1.5"!
The athletes also did some touring and sightseeing visiting places like Times Square and the 9/11 Memorial.
