Norton Boys End Second Consecutive Undefeated Season at 6-0 in Win Over Medfield 92-44!

In the seniors last duel meet of the season, the boys went an undefeated 6-0 in the outdoor season; 15-0 combined for indoor and outdoor track.  These senior boys have a four year record of 58-4 and have not lost a meet since sophomore year.  What a testament to these seniors.

The boys took down the Medfield Warriors today 92-44 at Medfield.  Varsity points leader and senior captain Justin Ireland won both the 100 and 200 and took 2nd in the javelin with a mammoth toss (4th best in the TVL this year) of 137'6"!  Senior captain Alex Buchan continued his winning ways grabbing 10 points in both the shotput and javelin (where he went undefeated in the regular season).  And speaking of undefeated, senior captain Camden Cleathero won both the 110 hurdles and high jump in every meet this season, including today.

Other FIRST PLACE finishers on the day included Colin O'Leary in the 400 hurdles, Austin Carroll in the 1 mile, Chris Wrenn in the 400 (also undefeated on the season), Thomas LeClaire in the 800, and the 4x100 team of Colin O'Leary, Justin Martins, Jeff Beaucage, & Connor Reynolds.

Norton moves into the post-season now as they head to Westwood on Wednesday with a quick turn-around for the TRI-VALLEY LEAGUE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS at 3:00 p.m.!
