Boys Decathlon Team of Paul Wisnaskas, Peter Rivard, & Pat Bingel Place 3rd Overall at the MSTCA Decathlon!

The 3 P's: Pat, Peter, & Paul! 




The boys decathlon team of Paul Wisnaskas, Peter Rivard, and Pat Bingel placed 3rd overall as a team at the MSTCA Decathlon after 2 days and 10 grueling events!

Freshman Paul Wisnaskas was EIGHT POINTS AWAY from qualifying for NATIONALS...again...as a FRESHMAN! He scored 5,392 points, good enough for 5th place overall!

Teammate Peter Rivard placed 16th overall (4570 points), while outgoing senior captain Pat Bingel placed 24th overall (4331 points)!

Their combined points was good enough to snag the 3rd place team plaque!

Some highlights included Paul's win in the High Jump with a leap of 5' 11.5", Patrick's 1500 2nd place finish in 4:31.80, Paul's 4th place 110 Hurdle finish with a 16.16, and Paul's 6th place 1500 meter finish of 4:37.40.

Norton will next compete at the NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS this Saturday (6/9) at the University of New Hampshire in the 2 Mile with JULIA PALIN (ranked 4th overall!!)
