A HUGE congratulations to the Norton Track Lady Lancers who won the Tri-Valley League Small Conference Championship! This is the ladies first championship since 2015! The girls remained undefeated on the season (5-0) as they were able to beat a very competitive Dedham Marauders team 74-62. Winner on the day were Ali Murphy (100 & 200), Shea Podbelski (mile), Bella Pietrasiewicz (400), Shaylee Owens (100 High Hurdles), Lauren Anderson (800), Brooke Dennett (2 Mile), and Michaela Whiteside (Shotput). The ladies swept (1-2-3) 4 events: Mile, 400 Meters, 100 High Hurdles, & 100 Meters! What an incredible regular season ladies...we are SO proud of you!
On the boys side, the Lancers beat Dedham 79-57 in another tightly contested matchup against a solid team. The boys will finish the regular season 4-1 and place 2nd overall in the TVL Small Conference. Winners on the day for the boys were Eddie Abouzeid (javelin & 200), Sean Wynne (400 Hurdles), Charlie Mills (1 Mile), Aiden Masse (800), Andrew McConnell (2 Mile), and the 4x400 Relay (Sean Nichols, Derek Bamford, Camden Lerner, & Charlie Mills).
The Lancers will head to Bellingham Friday for the TVL Showcase Meet!
