Wisnaskas Breaks 37 Year-Old Record in Long Jump & His Own School Record in the 400 Hurdles in Route to a Perfect Day in Bellingham; Both Teams Victorious!

Paul Wisnaskas broke his own school record in the 400 hurdles with a 55.7 (previously 56.00). However, more impressively with his first time competing in the long jump this year, he broke the 37 year old Norton High School record with a massive league leading jump of 22’1”(previously held by Ray Jackson from 1984 of 21’ 7.25”)!

The Norton boys won 79-58 and move to 3-1 on the season.

The still undefeated Norton girls win 87-49 and move to 4-0 on the season.  The Lady Lancers will head to Dedham High School next Wednesday to try to stay undefeated and win the Tri-Valley League Small Championship. Both teams had some great performances at Bellingham as seen in the results below! Congrats to both teams on another double-win day!

The Lancers will compete next against the Dedham Marauders in their final dual meet of the season away at Dedham next Wednesday, June 9th with a start time of 3:45!
