Norton Boys Beat Millis and Go Undefeated & Win TVL Outright for First Time in History!!!

Congrats to the Norton boys track team who went undefeated this season (9-0) by beating the Millis Mohawks 111-24! 

Norton makes history by not only going undefeated, but winning the Tri-Valley League Championship for the first time ever! 

Senior day was a huge success as the rain held off and allowed 29 Norton boys to place in this meet to clinch the title! 

Danny Rafuse was a double winner earning 10 points winning both the triple and long jumps!

Ben Donovan won the 110 hurdles and came in the second in the triple and long jumps for 11 points!

Other winners on the day were Ryan Lapadula in the 400 hurdles, Nick Jenkins in the 100, Mason Rouillard in the 800, Jon Plummer in the 200, Steve Hudson in the ShotPut, Kevin O'Leary in the Javelin, Steve Burrill in the High Jump, & Paul Schleicher in the discus!

Both relay teams took first as Kevin O'Leary, Brian Gannon, Jon Plummer, & Scott Coleman took the 4x100, and Steve Burrill, Joe DiLorenzo, Connor "Smack" McLaughlin, & Caleb Tripp won the 4x400! 

2nd place finishers on the day were Brian Acker in the 100, Chris McCready in the mile, Tyler Anderson in the 400, Ramzi Bechara in the 110 high hurdles, Max Marcotte in the 800, Brian Gannon in the 200, Nick Skotny in the 2 mile, Jack Keane in the shotput, Jon Plummer in the javelin, and Kevin O'Leary in the high jump.

3rd place finishers on the day were Ramzi Bechara in the 400 hurdles, Josh Kelleher in the 100 and long jump, David Aranjo in the mile, Elliott Ariola in the 110 high hurdles, Billy Sullivan in the 2 Mile, Joe Colley in the shotput, Joey Hallgren in the javelin, Tyler Durocher in the discus, and Joe DiLorenzo in the triple jump.

Norton will next compete on Saturday at the State Coaches Invitational in Somerville!
