Joey Annand Wins Freshman Mile at MSTCA State Coaches Invite; Multiple Placements on the Boys Side!

Congrats to the Norton boys who qualified and competed at the MSTCA State Coaches Meet this past Saturday.  

1st) Joey Annand was the first overall winner in the freshman mile with a time of 4:44.32 and beat out 44 other freshman who qualified. Congrats Joey! 

2nd) The freshman 4x100 of Andrew Raneri, Eddie Mercardo Jr., Dan Salvo, & Nick Reynolds placed 2nd overall with a time of 47.69! 

3rd) The 4x800 team of Max Marcotte, Chris Wrenn, Mike Tierney, & Parker Cleathero placed 3rd overall and were 4 seconds off of the school record with a 8:19.80!

4th) Senior Captain Zach Sicard placed 4th overall inthe long jump with a leap of 20'5.25"!

5th) Kevin O'Leary placed 5th overall in the javelin with a toss of 171'10".

15th) Cam Stalters placed 19th overall in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.43. 

19th) Cam Stalters placed 15th overall in the javelin with a toss of 151'3".

23rd) 4x100 Varsity Team - Kevin O'Leary, Justin Ireland, Adam Winiarz, & Camden Cleathero - 46.03.

32nd) Josh Kelleher placed 32nd overall in the long jump with a leap of 18'2". 

32nd) Justin Ireland placed 32nd overall in the 200 with a sprint of 23.99. 

34th) Adam Winiarz placed 34th overall in the 200 meters with a time of 24.07. 

Norton track will next compete against the Holliston Panthers on Monday at Holliston @3:30.
